A unique miniature butterhead type that produces heads about the size of a baseball. Tolerates high temperatures and resists bolting better than larger varieties. Sow seed 1" (2.5 cm) apart. Keep soil evenly moist for best growth. Thin regularly as lettuce does not like to be crowded. Can be planted in succession every three weeks.
