Coco Liner Sheets

Coco liner, coconut fibre liner or coco fiber mat, is commonly used for various purposes, particularly in container gardening and hanging baskets.

Purposes:

1. Basket Liners: Coco liners are often used as a natural alternative to traditional hanging basket liners. They provide a porous and breathable surface that retains moisture while allowing excess water to drain away. The liners help to create a suitable environment for plants in hanging baskets, promoting healthy root growth and reducing the risk of waterlogging.

2. Container Liners: Coco liners can be used to line the inside of containers, such as pots and troughs, particularly those without drainage holes. The liners help improve drainage by allowing water to pass through while preventing the soil from washing out. They also help retain moisture in the soil, reducing the frequency of watering.

3. Weed Control: When placed at the bottom of a container or raised bed, coco liners can act as a barrier against weed growth. They prevent weed seeds from germinating and growing through the soil, reducing the need for frequent weeding.

6. Organic and Sustainable Material: Coco liners are made from the fibrous husks of coconuts, making them an environmentally friendly choice. They are biodegradable and can be composted along with the plant material at the end of the growing season.
