Lighting:Spider plants prefer moderate to bright indirect light. They can tolerate less light but do not grow as well.
Watering:Spider plants can be thirsty if they are growing well. They prefer a soil with good drainage. They like to be lightly moist but have tuberous roots which store water so are forgiving if you miss a watering.
Tips:They like humid air. Air that is too dry can cause brown leaf tips; as can too much fertilizer or chlorine in the water.
