Halifax Seed Carrots Nantes Scarlet Pkg.

One of the most popular carrots. A hardy heirloom variety with smooth bright orange, sweet roots that reach approximately 6" (15 cm) long. Excellent steamed, cooked in soups and stews or eaten fresh. Carrots are a great snack food packed with vitamins and a crisp mild flavour.

Keep moist, and don't allow soil to crust before seedlings emerge. Thin young seedlings, and fertilize when 3" (7.5 cm) tall.
