Salvia officinalis

Aromatic and flavourful leaves with a bluish-tinge that can be used with pork, poultry and in stuffings. Makes a delicious tea said to soothe a sore throat. Water occasionally once established. Pick leaves sparingly the first season and replace entire plant after 3 seasons because plant becomes woody. To dry, harvest leaves just before blooming.
