Norfolk Island Pine

Araucaria heterophylla aka Norfolk Island Pine

Traditionally sold at Christmas but Norfolk Pines make an excellent houseplant year round with its bright green arching fronds.

Light: Ultimately norfolks prefer a south window with lots of sunshine but they can handle bright, indirect light as well.

Water: Water when the top of the soil is dry to the touch. They like to be neither too wet or too dry.

Norfolks are humidity lovers and enjoy an acidic peat based soil with some sand mixed in for good drainage.
