Philodendron Gigas displays oval, deep green velvet-like leaves that are copper as they emerge. Indoors, it can grow to around 8-10 feet tall, with leaves reaching around a foot in length.
Lighting: Provide bright indirect light. This is found close to bright windows – like east, south or west facing windows – but out of the path of the direct sun. Because they are able to adapt to different lighting conditions, they can also handle lower light quite well.
Watering: You should aim to water as soon as the top inch or two of soil dries out, depending on the size of the plant. The larger the plant and pot, the longer you can wait before watering again.
