Easy to grow and features attractive olive & white, woolly leaves that bloom with pink-purple flowers in the summer.
Lighting: Grow Tradescantia in medium or bright light. It tolerates low light for a time, but the plant's overall health will decline if kept in too little light for too long.
Watering: Water when the potting mix starts to dry. These houseplants do best in relatively moist, well-draining soil. Avoid the centre of the plant, when watering.
Note: Prune in early spring to late fall. The plant will become leggy, if not pruned regularly.
